The reflection in the bowl fits the mood of the picture, and makes it look more like an orb. The green in the background balances the colour in the picture really well since there is also a bit of white. For me, the best part of the picture is how the flowers in the bowl seem to be flopped on the water and slightly drowning (in a good way); the stem on the flower on the left helps this especially. Pattern on the blue surface-thing stands out a bit, as catches a bit of light from the bowl, a bit off-centre.
