For a moment I even had the feeling I could smell the sweet scent of this beautiful fruit. What made me stop and look at it longer was especially the atmosphere which the artist created in this piece. I absolutely love the colors! The well known strong pink-red of the pomegranate and then the very subtle blue rising from - I gess - a metal plate with it's subtle ornament on it, which I personally like a lot. And that all fades out into the eternal black. All this creates and atmosphere of mysticism and gives the foto an oriental touch. The only thing I could think of to improve - but again, I think it's a matter of taste - The focus could be a little bit more to the front, because I like the blur in the background but I would have wanted to see more of the pomegranate sharp.
