I also really like how you have the two photographs appear together as well. Individually, each is still really great, but you'd be left with a simple photograph of either a bowl of raspberries or a macro shot of them. There'd be no impact. By adding the two together, what you've done is generate a shared meaning between the two, and looking at the arrangement suddenly becomes more than just looking at a bowl of fruit. You show the color, emphasize the beauty of the bowl, then my attention is directed to the berries at the top, where I can see just how magnificent the little morsels are.
